Chicaque National Park is a captivating natural reservoir hidden in the thick Andean cloud forests—300 hectares big. It harbors hundreds of endemic and non-endemic species of birds, over 20 mammals, amphibians, and reptiles too.
Hike through the numerous ecological trails with a savvy ornithologist-guide (premium option) and hear in-depth commentary on the aspects of the fauna and flora living here. Walk along nature trails and oak forest, cross streams and water sources, ride a cableway through the woods, and challenge yourself with some tree climbing, and much more!
We’ll meet at 7 a.m. at your hotel. Listen as your guide allows you insights into Colombian history and culture while enjoying the urban landscape and scenery of the Bogotanian countryside.
Upon arriving at Chicaque, try some typical snacks, and do some stretching exercises before starting the hike.

Enjoy a typical lunch in the middle of a cloud forest before heading back to the starting point. There will be a jeep waiting for you at 2:30 p.m. to take you back to the starting point. Please, be on time.

Finally, we will leave you in the comfort of your hotel in the afternoon hours—or the El Dorado airport.
